Ebulb shop

I've been trying to buy a 10 Watt pygmy light bulb with a small screw-in connection for our fridge. Have only been able to find 15W in the shops, and I've used them before and they seem to 'blow' faster.
Maplin didn't have one, and a local electrical supplier could offer me something which would fit but said I should go for a fridge bulb as they were designed to withstand the bumps from opening and shutting the fridge door.
Then an email arrived from ebulb, so I thought I'd look on their website. Couldn't find what I wanted, so I emailed them. Very prompt auto-response, followed within half an hour by a real person who seemed to know what a fridge bulb would look like, promising to check with their distributors in the morning.
By lunchtime the next day I have an email saying the bulb I want is sourced and on the website! So I asked if it had been there all along, and I'd missed it, and was told no, if you ask for a bulb they will add it to the site, because "after all you know what you want!"
Now clearly you don't want to be buying one fridge bulb and paying p&p on it, but they helpfully point out that if you order more bulbs there is free p&p on orders over £25. I'm off to order my own weight in long life candle bulbs: none left in the house and 12 fittings that use them!
I have ordered from them before and the bulbs have arrived intact, not like another company who managed to deliver a consignment of bulbs with only one or two intact!

They just get better and better!
I ordered my fridge bulb today, along with a load of bulbs for the four sets of ghastly three pronged light fittings we have scattered around the house. But couldn't find some spotlight bulbs I wanted with bayonet fittings, only screws. Also wanted a large round long life bulb which wasn't on the site.
Not only have I had a same day response saying the spotlights with bayonets are now on the site, and that the large round bulb will be there tomorrow ... but ...
I can now have 5% off all my future orders!
I like them!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Hi there,
Another very useful site i have found is called www.lamps2udirect.com !!
They are currently offering 10% off all their Megaman energy saving light bulbs. I made a very good saving on these bulbs.
They also supply smilight kitchen tubes which i could not find anywhere else.
They replied quickly to my queries which prompted my quick order.
Not only this the goods arrived this morning!!
I do all my shopping over the internet and this is by far the best experience i have had.

I've just encountered problems with three-pronged light fittings in my house.
The solution I found was to buy a lamp holder for 98p from B&Q and to change the fitting to a normal two-pronged bayonet fitting so you can buy the cheap energy saving bulbs.
Hope that's helpful0 -
I used them and had a terrible experience. They sent the bulbs OK but the packaging was terrible and they arrived broken. Trying to get replacements or a refund took forever. BE AWARE. I have no experience of the other company listed.0

Website worked a week ago - friend ordered bulbs, money taken from bank account, nothing received. Website now not available, no answers to email or phone. Website search shows, unfortunately, tens if not hundreds of very dissatisfied customers experiencing the same thing.
Just a warning really - avoid!0
