Waiting for 5 months to switch!
Hi there.
I applied to switch my gas and electric over in the middle of February through uswitch to London Energy's online dual fuel .
Now, near the end of July, I am still waiting for them to activate my accounts!
Have phoned them several times to ask when the account will be ready, don't seem too bothered, something about waiting for the final readings from my electric account. I did give final readings to both them and the supplier I'm switching from, but this has done no good.
I got a gas bill through from them today, but no sign of the electric account getting activated....
I'm having to put money aside every month to cover the energy I'm using, so that I don't get landed with a huge bill I can't pay when it eventually comes.
Is this a normal time to wait? Has anyone else had problems with London Energy? Does the paper bills mean that they haven't actually given me an online account??
Also, no sign of the 10 pounds from uswitch...
