prophecy_grrrl - sorry to be thick, what's a CBS? I'm guessing its not a Broadcasting Company!!!

thevinternet - hi there, Batgirl or StressedMum will pick up your post and add you to the list at the beginning. In the meantime, assume you've joined and keep on posting, welcome! Check out the Up Your Income board, and for bingo there's a link in the first post of this thread - the sites at the very end of the post are really the only ones still going, I think.

Thanks so much for that, I'm finding this forum really useful for support. I sold a hairdryer on ebay today when at work, so I'm cheery. Hope things are going well for you too. xxx

After my computer free day...there's another of those 'couple in debt' progs on Channel 4 at 7pm - followed by Wife Swap which I love!

I did a new-to-me moneysaving thing today - I've always planted my own hanging baskets using plug plants, but I can't afford them this year, so today I planted seeds instead - no idea how much I'll have saved if they grow. But today's bonus is that my neighbour said he's always admired my hanging baskets and would I do some for him, and he would pay. Quicker than I thought I could have thought it through, I said I would rather 'trade' - I desperately need a kitchen tap fixing and can't afford a plumber, and two doors need hanging - he's a real DIY freak. So he agreed to that! I don't know how to work out the money saved for the £10-a-day thing though, as its a 'skillswap' really.

  • Is there a thread that tells you current quidco offers where you don't have to spend anything to get some cashback? For example, there's a new one today - http://www.quidco.com/coke-zone/ which I don't think you have to pay any money towards.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to put it.

This is the current "no spend" Quidco thread although the first posts are not being updated. However the other posters are adding things as they come up each time
