Afternoon all! Everyone's doing really well so far. I've got a payment from rpoints come through, and thought I'd count it as I've not done this challenge before! Also, I've cancelled a dvd I ordered last month for £11.25, as it was taking ages to be despatched. I'm going to count that towards the total, so I've transferred the money into my savings.

    Keep on the moneysaving/making!:j

I'll join up to this one again. I managed to make over £600 in February and really enjoyed the challenge!

I'm just over £70 total so far in March with a mixture of cashbacks which have tracked through, an Ebay sale and some matched betting.

As mentioned in the Ebay thread, its free listing on Sat and Sun of this week for items starting under 99p. You still have to pay gallery fee's etc but the standard list price is Nil.

So save your listing til then :)
  • Ooh I didn't know it was free listing this weekend! Thanks!

Thanks for that - I recently checked Ebay's 'message' announcements and that one wasn't there - but a while back I worked thru the figures, and unless you try and hike up the postage to an unreasonable rate, its actually very hard to make a profit if you sell something for 99p because it all goes in fees. (that is if you use Paypal). I know you may get more than 99p for the items but there's always a risk that things will sell to a maiden bidder.
  • hello dumb and idiotic as i am. I would like to join but exactly how do i go about it and what do i have to do?

Not doing too good today, 25p on Just The answer, 30p on OnePoll, 10p on Ciao and about 2p on Archerfish.

I'm about to start on Slice the Pie for an hour, I figured at the current rate of 7p per song (I'm a 3 star scout) and if I spend 2 minutes on each review, thats 30 reviews for an hour = £2.10. If I do this every night I will have £10.50 by the end of the week.

I started a new job today so I guess I'll save petrol because my new place of work is next door to my husband. Will have to work out what the weekly petrol saving is.

On a bonus note I found £10 in my ISA. So without Slice the Pie that's £10.67 for today.
