Brilliant. I've just been through all the rooms and advance purchased free tickets for all the games available.

I did ask this in one of the chat rooms but I wonder if someone here could confirm if this is correct as well - if I got logged out of the Gala site and couldn't get back in again, would the games I have advanced purchased for still count? If I won on them would I get the money?

I really want to know if you can advance purchase and then bascially forget about it until you check your balance. I'm not too sure my OH would be too keen on my playing bingo online even if it is free and I think it might be better if I wasn't logged in - but is that taking the mick and will my 'free' tickets count?

Thanks. Sorry for the long post and questions but just want to be sure.

    Marie :)
  • Hello:hello: ,
Quite a few days since I posted but doing fairly well.
    E-bay £21.26
Refund for overpayment from B.T.£36 08
Pigsback vochers £40,sold to friend,to give as a pressie.
These are mostly one-off things so looks like I'll have to throw more on E-bay.
Still haven't been through survey sites to see how much I can claim.
    Might have a pleasant surprise:rolleyes: .
Hope everythingis going well for other folks,
    Oldteabag x

I am sure you can just buy the tickets and then leave Gala to get on with it - if your ticket wins it will show on your balance.

But every hour they put up a thing on the screen to say you've been playing for an hour and do you want to continue. I don't know if they are 'checking' to see ifyou are still there, or if its a thing they have to do to protect addictive gamblers from playing for too long. ANd if you're not 'there' after 60 mins to confirm, I don't know if the system carries on with your bought tickets........

Edit - sorry this is a reply to the Tigger4 post, but that OLDTEABAG sneaked in while I was writing it!

Thanks Asset. I will keep logged in I think. It sounds as though that would be the best option. Don't want to miss out on any free winnings. Am sure I can log out if I need to quick enough. I don't think OH would mind too much really, I just need to drop it into conversation next time Sharon O is on the telly with the Gala advert again maybe.

Tigger4 - why not stay logged in but minimise it and have the screen on something else, then just flip back to look at it occasionally

I keep leaving my computer on and going and doing other stuff - my problem is the cat likes sleeping on the keyboard so he keeps messing up the stuff I have on screen.......

If you are on another website you will still be logged on to Gala. Then just go back to Gala every so often (just in case) but I am pretty sure its still logged even if the computer is switched off

    15p made for me today.

Not doing anything other than free bingo at the moment as my cat is on his last legs and I'm spending all evenings sitting in the chair, with him sleeping on my lap

  • I thought you needed to click to claim on each game?

I've never won, but assumed you needed to click the 'CLAIM' button when your numbers were up

You definitely don't need to do this on Skybet or Gala or any of the Cashcade ones - I was on one where you had to claim but it turned out to be one of those that say they give free start money and then don't let you have your winnings anyway. I just won the grand sum of £2.50 on Skybet - it was a one line £5 but it had to be shared! and it instantly was put on my account without me claiming it. I'm racking my brains trying to decide what to spend it on!!!
