I have had persistent crashes later and it is obvious that it has been caused by a malfunction of adobe flash player. I uninstalled and reinstalled it, shelling out $49. It is still giving me a problem. Anyone got any advise please. Please keep it simple I am not a techie at all
Thanks a lot

What do you mean by crashes? Apps closing, pc shutting down, blue screen errors.....?
And what do you mean by shelling out $49? Flash player is free??

Either the screen freezes or I get a message saying that microsoft has to close down. This is usually when I am in the bingo sites or games. I often get messages saying that the problem is caused by an add on. I have had messages saying that it is adobe flash player. I uninstalled it and in order to reinstall I googled it and it took me to an ordering page. Yes I thought it was free too.“The primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation but your thoughts about it.” Eckhart Tolle0

It was a rhetorical question. Flash player is free. I've no idea what you paid for but I'd uninstall it completely from add/remove programs and then try installing from here http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash&promoid=BUIGA"She is quite the oddball. I have done that.
Who the hell have I paid if it is free. A bit worrying. Thanks for your help anyway. Just have to see if it behaves itself“The primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation but your thoughts about it.” Eckhart Tolle0 -
Just did a google search and this appeared in the sponsored links:FlashPlayer-2008.com. Is that the site you went to? If so they've got nothing to do with Adobe. They sell free software (yes I typed that right) and you're paying for technical support. You've essentially paid a membership fee. Assuming that is what you've done, there was someone on here yesterday that did exactly the same thing for Google Earth (and looks like the same outfit as well). If I were you I'd ask for a refund, flash player is freeware, always has been and probably always will be."She is quite the oddball. Yes that sounds as if it is right. And I will do that. There was something about refunds if you are not happy so I will give that a try.“The primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation but your thoughts about it.” Eckhart Tolle0
