Just picked one up at PC World for £26.99, just print off Amazon page showing it selling there for £34.99 and PC World (begrudgingly!!) did a price match and 10% difference. The manager's face when he saw the printout... Priceless!!

Do you have quite a modern Xbox?

Just wondering, as my year-old one's way too noisy to seriously think about using it as any kinda DVD player...

We have an Elite now but we've used a very early Xbox in the past. The noise has never bothered me, but then there are usually 2 PCs whirring away in the room at the same time anyway! And the surround sound (on optical, of course, which is another advantage of the Xbox drive) drowns most things out!

    Hi people,

I have only just joined this site so my apologies if someone has already posted this offer.
I was in Game today and saw the HD-DVD drive for the xbox 360 for only £39.99 - after asking if it was a mistake I was told it wasn't and that was the price they are selling them for,.
I picked up two and the quality of the picture you get on HD discs is amazing.
I know that blu-ray has won the format war but there are still nearly 300 titles on HD-DVD and hopefully the price will start dropping soon !

Hope this is ok for my first post !

What is the price match at PC World, is it 110%?

    Do they match the internet?
