I know the idea is not to pay any charges but i,m having a real problem. I am self employed and am having a real problem with clients paying late, i mean 60 days + this has the obvious knock on effect that with dd set up and the money coming in late, i end up getting hit, this has just happened twice this month.
I am with Intelligent Finance and they charge £30 a time and they will not budge on the phone. I am getting seriously down about it. It is so bl****y frustrating.:mad::mad:

May I suggest you visit a bank that offers Business banking.0

Business accounts charge for all deposits and withdrawals and i presume for missed DD's and So's0

Not for the first 18 -24 months.
They could also possibly arrange an overdraft facility to cover the times you are waiting for money.
They could even arrange to factor your invoices so you get your hands on your money a lot sooner.
In this world would you work for nothing? Of course not but you expect banks to?
Your present method has already cost you £60 this month so is hardly free is it??0 -
Fair point

Well, i totallyunderstand how hard it can be for you. May i advise you to try invoice finance. It ensures that you always have the day-to-day working capital you need and relieves you of the pressures of chasing payments.
