Well i bet this surprises a few of you. :o

Programmer for heating went faulty,rung BG approx 11.00am to check if it was covered on our service contract.
Answer yes, we can get an engineer out to you,is there someone at home this afternoon?
Engineer arrived at 2.30pm and completed repair.

I was well impressed.

    We have BG insurance for our boiler and its been really excellent service. We have had a few call outs for various reasons and they either come out that day or the next. Great service from BG and its no extra cost to your monthly payment.

  • ive got the cover as well and its the bees knees....

    watch them though, i had a fault and it took them three months and several (4 ish) call outs before they sent the manager who located and fixed the fault, all very nice and apologised for what he said was a intermitent and dificult to locat problem

    i had no problems with the service or the reasons and they were very nice......

    but then my annual service contract came through and they had upped the codt from £13 to £18 per month, with no reasons.....

    i asked them why and they said "to many call outs" over a limit of three per year they charge you extra

    i explained and shouted that it was the same fault over three months and not my fault they coudnt fix it before a manager then reduced it again

    watch the bils for the office people hiking them up!

    they are top. my boilers gone kaput, they are coming out tonight, can't guaruntee what time, but they'll be here by 9pm. top banana, only rang them at 6:30pm.

    they came, fixed boiler in half an hour. totally wonderful service.
