i know it is not the cheapest place to go,but at the moment is one of the only options open to us.

There was a program on the telly about them, maybe "Watchdog",no doubt other mse`s will remember.
The bottom line was, don`t touch them with a bargepole.0 -
My brother went with them and had loads of trouble - the end result was him returning the car to them and paying what was outstanding to them via credit card because he wanted nothing more to do with them.
The reason he went with them was because they were about his only option. Once they had him commited their customer service was terrible.
This is the only case I know - so of course could be a one off BUT I know my brother.

They pick the car to fit your loan amount, the cars on display dont have prices on them, they make it up as they go along. The selling price of the car is the highest in the business,it may be 2/3 thousand pounds over-priced.........but whats another 25 pounds a month extra on the hp to you, if you are desperate, that's what they rely on,beggers cant be choosers is the saying.......just dont choose Yes Car Credit.Political?....I dont do Political....well,not much!0

They are not in business to sell cars, but to sell loans to people with a bad credit history. Unless you stand absolutely no chance of financing a new car elsewhere, avoid them like the plague. Even then I would think very, very carefully.
If you do pay them a visit, they will work out the financial details before finding a car that fits the finance. The opposite way to a normal car dealer. As you will then be trying to find a car that fits the finance, you could easily end up agreeing to buy something you didn't really want.
The financial details will be bonkers, with very high interest rates, disguised by very long payment periods. It is quite possible that you will still be paying for the 'new' car you buy, long after it has gone to the scrapyard.
They use classic time-share sales techniques - establish what someone can afford, fit the finance terms to that, take ages to do this, and then embarrass them into buying it. "After all you did say you wanted a new car, and you did say you could afford £x per month, so why don't you want to buy this car".0 -
Mind you.........that bird in green is tasty very tasty..........sorry.........back to the medication..........Political?....I dont do Political....well,not much!0

I always lived by the rule that if a company has to advertise so repeatedly and in your face as this (and many, many others) they can't really be all that good when it comes down to it. Reading the above, I guess it's true
How do you mean it's one of your only options? Have you spoken with your bank? Even if they can't give you a loan they might have a sideline in cars - honestly - my friend got one from https://www.carselect.co.uk as a Lloyds customer and said they were brilliant0 -
The company won't even find the money to dress someone who advertises them.
Personally, I'd rather buy a bike or use public transport than go near them.
Any company with cheesy adverts turns me off - Yes car credit, those dodgy home loan companies, that Holland and Barrett one.
I love adverts. They're meant to attract customers but actually turn me away.
You'd be better off without a car than going to Yes car credit - avoid!0 -
I think this may help you

My friend's son got a car from these people. It was a pile of junk and yes, he was still paying for it after it went to the scrap heap.0

hi, thanks for all your replys everyone.
the problem we have at the moment is our car now needs alot dooing to it and it will cost a fortune to do so, we both unfortunatly have bad credit so we we would not be able to recieve credit from anywhere else, i dont know what else we can do, we need a car as we live quite far from anything, we are going to use our car as a deposit, suppose because they are on the tv you seem to go to them first, but i dont know of anywhere else, there is a company called welcome finance, but they have a higher APR on the online advert.
so looks like we will have to get ripped off and go there!
thanks againappreciate what you have got x0
