Be wary using this product.. it kills all fleas on the animal within 24hrs but has NO lasting activity. It should only be used when a major infestation needs wiping out quickly (i.e. a stray with ++++ fleas) or in combination with environmental control and a growth regulating treatment (e.g. Program). Routine flea control is much easier using a product with lasting activity. Frontline is the one people will have heard of, it works and its not that much more expensive considering in cats one treatment lasts 5 weeks. As this is a moneysaving site the financial aspect.. use Johnsons, Bob Martins etc.. and if you have a flea problem you will then need to buy frontline or something similar. Don't waste your money buying rubbish!! (Obviously I appreciate this is a free offer use it with the advice above...)

Also.. a bit shocked to see this myself in the Petplan magazine, I insure my pets with them and thought they'd be a bit more careful before having offers for products, but if you read the small print they do not endorse any of the products featured in their mag.. (it just looks like it!!)

SUILOONG, the site moneysaving expert.com is about saving money, there may be people out there like myself who use frontline, but may like to take advantage of the fact that the product is FREE,and therefore try it, and it may also be that flea treatment for many people proves expensive, therefore by pointing out a way that some people may like to take advantage of this offer,as they may/may not practicably be able to afford flea treatments at the moment is helping out alot of people.

Although you may feel the product is inferior, that is your opinion,for some people it may be this or nothing, think harder, perhaps provide more positive feedback than you do at the moment, people may thank you for it.:D

I'm sorry you feel my advice and experience is negative, I'm simply trying to help.. I specifically noted the advice on how to use the product rather than simply saying its no good. The active ingredient does work (unlike a lot of other over the counter flea/wormers) but needs to be used properly and I think its important people know that. It isn't a substitute for proper flea control regardless of what it costs (or doesn't!). I understand this is a moneysaving site but read what Martin says on the front page:

"It's about cutting bills not cutting back and being a sassy consumer."

For me that means getting the best product at the best price, and not compromising on quality. I freely admit to saving every penny, I do daily clicks, use cashback sites, shuffle my credit cards to get the best deals and shopping as carefully as possible, but I won't compromise on things that ultimately affect the welfare of animals I care for.. its my choice to be a moneysaver not theirs!! If you don't want to follow my advice, thats fine, but I'm not here for thanks, I'm here to give my experience and advice for free.. something I get paid for the rest of the day.
