Credit Card PPI

Hi All,
Could anyone help or point me in the right direction for the query below.
Years ago I was given a credit card by my bank, which I took, spent on and paid off for years, then in 2000 I was made redundant and so I called the card company up to let them know I wouldn't be able to make to repayments and would it be possible to make reduced payment until I found another job, then to my surprise I was told that I had insurance to cover unemployment & sickness!!! I obviously had no idea about it before hand and so so I went on to claim. I still pay the same PPI on the card, (although I am looking round this site to try find out where to go for cheaper insurance for it!), but seeing as though I have claimed on the insurance once, would I be able to claim anything back?
Have posted this somewhere else on this site but think it's in wrong place and I can't find it again to move it!
Any help appreciated.:D

Why should you be able to claim anything back? You paid for an insurance policy, used it, and carried on using it. I don't see the problem.0
