    Hi mookybargirl

Glad they worked out in the end..
If they were brittle it may have been too much flour, or if they were cooked a bit too long... well thats what i would guess at -going by what mine do sometimes :D
Thanks MrsM - you should have seen me in the beginning. OMG :rotfl: Will try a little less cooking time and little less flour next time.

Thanks Mrsmcawber for the potato salad recipe and yes I am struggling too to eat raw onions as well.

Anyone else who slept badly last night? I did and I blame the storm for that so I shall have an early night tonight.

I will leave it in the fridge for 4-5 days, all that happens is the veg will soften slightly (but its nicer that way ;) ) and you may need a little more yog/mayo adding as it soaks into the veggies... or i sometimes just add a squeeze of lemon to loosen it up again

I have resisted the temptation so far only by removing my wallet from my handbag - a sad fact for a grown woman to have to admit :o

NSD today. really need more milk but can't be bothered to go to the shop, lol. It'll have to be toast for brekkie.

I had HM celery soup for lunch with ryvitas and one of Twinks Hobnobs
There's enough soup left for lunch tomorrow too.
    I've done my lunch planner for next couple of weeks;

Weds; fish in sauce (micro/boli in bag pouches that have been in my freezer for months lol) with salad
    thurs; potato and leek soup
    Fri: ditto
Sat/Sun egg or cheese on toast
Mon; fish in sauce with salad
    Tues celery soup
    WEd; celery soup
    Thurs; beans on toast
Fri fish in sauce (the end!!)

Not planned kids lunchboxes tho. Will have to have a think
