Managed to spend another £30-odd
AND I'm blaming you lot. Went into MrT for choccie to make the crispie cakes & some of their scrummy[£1-for-three offer]corner-type yogs, a [£1 offer]pack of choc trifles & five whoopsied packs of sausages fell into my trolley too:p
I've not done my best this week, with the paprika on Sunday & yesterday getting glace cherries from a scoop n weigh---is it just me  who finds those places deceivingly inviting & easy to spend a fortune in?
Hoping to do a lot of baking today, including my first ever batch of the infamous Twink's Hobnobs;) & the cheese & ham muffins.Full time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;loving & loved by two 4-legged babies.

Last week for me
Just added up my spends so far. £87.76...Which is really good for me.
But.... Historically, I always lose it in the last week
Later today, I will have to get some bits and bobs...
So hopefully, that will keep me out of the shops for the rest of the week :rolleyes:0 -

Oh poor you! I did this once, then gave the choc-topped shortbread to DH...
DH: What's this?
Me (slightly irked already at sign of criticism after a culinary disaster): Millionaire's shortbread.
DH: It's got no toffee layer!
Me (past the point of being a reasonable woman): Well you're not a *&%£ ing millionaire!
Hope it doesn't degenerate thus far in your house...
Love and a consolation hug,
