OOh good luck with the ann summers parties, when's your first one?

Bit of advice if you want it(or even if you don't!!!) do good hostess prep (ask bunny!!).

Not sure what kind of training you get, but it's always a good idea to ask your hostess how many she's expecting, give her some catalogues and order forms in advance, tell her that if people can't make it, they can still order, and it will count towards her commission, maybe challenge her to try and get £100 of pre orders, and she'll get x free gift or discount, or whatever.

Anyway, just wanted to wish you all the best, and if you want any party plan tips feel free to PM me, although you do have the font of all party plan knowledge to fall back on (ie Bunny!), she'll make you the best agent ever:D

    Hey DD!
Nice to see you! We've missed you! (In fact your ears must have been burning as a mate and I were saying how we'd not seen you around lately?)
The trolls are a bit rampant lately aren't they?

i'm stuck wearing glasses again. I've got 1 pair left and have to hold onto them until i get in for a checkup. my purchase got refused as my prescription was more than a year old!

Don't get mad that they wouldn't honour your prescription, this happened to my OH.
He had to have another eye test and was handed a letter for his GP with instructions do not go home go straight to Dr
Turns out he had dangerously high blood pressure, which he did not know about and had a burst blood vessel in his eye.
Thank goodness for that eye test- he is fine now.

Yikes leejo, how scary, glad he's okay now.

After I had DS, my blood pressure shot up, and I had very weird visual disturbances. I remember quite clearly looking in the mirror and I only had one eye.....and the strangest thing was, I didn't find it odd in the slightest. I just thought 'oh, I've only got one eye today', and went back to bed.

It was only when I started laughing at the nurse because her face was just black and white squares that she said 'I think I'd better just call the doctor'!

So.... very.... tired. Haven't slept properly since last thursday night. But on the bright side tonight I get to go pick up my ann summers kit. Need to nip down the post office later to look into putting up my ad and posting a couple of letters, one of which is Ste's cashback claim for dialaphone :D.
The girls are still bogeyed up to the eyeballs and K woke up in the night as I think she's teething as well. Poor chick.

Hoping for a nice calm day....

Last night the shopping came to £45 something (but I forgot bin bags and kitchen roll  and put £20 of petrol in. Considering starting filling up the tank on payday rather than doing it every week, because we're thinking of starting going back to the practice studio on sundays so we don't get rusty but doing it as maybe a 2 weekly thing going to practice one week then ours the next to record ideas etc.

aaaand relax. Spent all morning [strike]spamming[/strike] adding people on my AS myspace page. Got 60 odd 'friends' now, one person who's requested a catalogue and one who's said she's interested in a party so I've asked her to email me. Touch wood something comes of it and it isn't a wind up. :)

Not bad for a mornings work I think!

Just got back from the village. Ash was a really good little helper helping me do some leafletting on the way. My ad's also up in our local shop. £2.40 for 12 weeks. Not bad at all! Bought her some sweets and a magazine as a treat seeing as she was so good. Also sent off the catalogue that myspace person requested, as well as the cashback claim for dialaphone which I forgot to send recorded! Hope it gets there ok or they don't see that it's not recorded and chuck it so they don't have to pay out. :undecided

Awww bless Ash, she's a good girl. Just watch out if she's helping to put things through letter boxes, Stu got his fingers bitten by a dog doing that a few weeks ago. (He wasn't badly hurt.....I tried not to laugh.....:o)

Guess who has just fallen asleep with 5 minutes to go till school run time?
