Where can I get cheaper mortgage assurances?

Hi there,
My mother has asked me to step in and see if we can help her reduce her monthly payments for Mortgage life insurances, as she firmly believes that at the moment she is overpaying. I have tried reading the article on reducing them, but it didn't make much sense to me (sorry).
The mortgage amount it is covering is £86,000
At the moment she pays £36 a month for mortgage cover on death for herself and her husband
And for Accident, sickness and redundancy she pays £28 a month again for herself and her husband.
I am not entirely sure who they are with, I will ask in the morning if required. However I wondered how I could go about possibly helping her reduce them?
Any help would be fantastic.
