Since they started the new recycling scheme nearly five weeks ago our bins have not managed to be emptied on a Tuesday, they normally have to come back on the Wednesday to collect whatever they havent had time to collect.
Our garden waste bin has been out for collection for two days now and not a sign. Just tried to phone them and after holding for more than five minutes got a recorded message "we are receiving a high volume of calls please ring later" and was cut off!!!!!
There are people living a few doors up who rely on mobility cars to get around and it is a hazard having to keep going onto the road to dodge the bins (although ours is just on the edge of the drive rather than the pavement).
I just feel this whole system is ridiculous and doesnt give a good first impression when you're trying to sell your house! :mad:
