Options
Not 2 sure if this is a freebie or a get it quick but if i've put it in the wrong place sorry, also if this has been posted before again sorry....i did search but couldn't see anything!!!

ANYWAY

Now i no people will say its not free cos you have to spend to get it but here goes.....

The LG KG130 mobile phone...£19.99 at woolies but until the 11th of march they are on offer....2 for £30

Now for the smart bit

'Recycle your old mobile' with envirofone and get £21.38 cash OR £24.59 on an argos gift card for each phone....so buy two phones for £30 send them both back and get £49.18 to spend in argos or if you dont have anything you need to buy just get the cash instead and you've still made £12.77 profit!!!!!

Woolies website are sold out of the phone but according to customer support most stores have them in stock with a good rate of replenishment aswell!!!!

If you want the cash or the argos voucher either way.....your a winner!!!!!

Posting to envirofone is free too so even then theres no cost to you!!!!

Unless i'm missing something this is win-win!!!

sounds quite good might see how others get on first only one thing to point out in there temrs and conditions

    PLEASE NOTE
    • We encourage the return of mobile phone boxes, battery chargers and accessories to be sent, but they do not increase the value listed on envirofone.com. To send these either use the envelope provided or mark a larger envelope - FREEPOST envirofone.
    • To fully test mobiles we will restore factory settings.
    • All mobile phone trades are valid for a period of 20 days only - where possible we may be able to hold this price longer although envirofone.com reserve the right to pay the current market rate for handsets received after this period.
    • Phone values stated on the website are subject to change at any time without notice.
  • yea, i see that 2.....keep your receipt and keep it all sealed up and if the price does change just take the phones back and get your money back
  • Sorry to point out a catch but if the postie nicks the package or the phones get damaged in the way then it's a lose - lose case.

Only way to do it would be to insure them at the post office when you send it. Then that eats in to your profit.

Does anyone know of a highstreet shop you can take them in to for cash?

Get a certificate of posting - these are free from postoffice at the time of posting, make sure you sent the 2 phones separately and you are then covered for royal mail to lose the item or damage it up to about 30 pounds per item, claims can take a couple of months though so again a small risk of having to wait to get your cash back. Obviously lose the profit but maybe worth a try.

good idea, tho I personally don't think it's worth the hassle for £12

Envirofone say they never received my phone - it was only £3, but still it's now £3 I don't have!!
  • Sounds like a good idea, might give it a try!
Also you can get £3.60 Quidco cashback if you go via them for envirofone
