Fab show again Martin and Ruth - PPI really well explained.
Didn't like Katie in the Apprentice, so I made a coffee when she was on...sorry but the editing on the apprentice made her out to two faced and I don't like that, although one has got to hand it to her she does well working in two different jobs so to speak and being a mum and that's not easy in itself.
Well done to M & R again, and my OH says Lara looked fab again, gosh with Natasha kaplinsky and Lara on channel 5, I'll never get to watch anything else.

Really enjoyed the show! Like the concentration on fewer topics. More gravitas with a touch of humour gets the info across better imho. The studio doesn't sound so empty now - maybe the clapping's got louder!
Ps I haven't seen any of the extra internet shows yet - are these going to be the sunday shows then? If so really
looking forward to seeing them. Pps - really want a kitchen like Angelina's!0 -
Another excellent show - could someone point me in the direction of the body butter recipes that were shown?Kondo'ed 76 items from wardrobe, 4 carrier bags of books0

As its me who made the body butter then a look at my blog may be in order? I'm away all day today (out for a birthday treat) but let me know if you have any questions)
You may have noticed that I also had some bath bombs on display in the show. We didnt have time to film me making those so I've put the recipe for those on my blog too. Hope this helps :-)0 -
Just a quick update from last night.
I haven't managed to find the documents yet, I've found one from 1996!
I had to almost laugh as I've only ever taken out 2 loans (apart from my Mortgage) and I found the one I didn't want... :rotfl:
I'll continue searching next week, as my eldest Son is coming Home for Mothers day weekend... :j
Thanks again guys for your help xxx................................... MSE MARTIN LEWIS ... :A ... THANK YOU.......................0 -
Watched this at my Mum's today - I've tried to convince her that me going hell for leather over the Halifax's refusal to accept that they missold PPI to the tune of £2K in 2001 is perfectly acceptable! Unfortunately she comes from a time where the bank was all powerful and we were the little consumer unable to challenge these mighty rogues.
After watching the half hour show she's taped, she was now saying, "I think I may ahve been missold too". I hope more people jump on the bankwagon after this show and really take the PPI salesman to account. The more publicity about this the better.
And as for the Halifax? I'm preparing my court claim now.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -

My PPI was with the Halifax...
They did not give me any details about pre-existing conditions etc...
Just that in the case of illness/inability to work due to illness or unemployment that it would kick in, and the Insurance would take over the repayments.
Absolutely taking Money from People who trusted them and their so called advice!................................... MSE MARTIN LEWIS ... :A ... THANK YOU.......................0 -
Pity it cant be an hour long show then they wouldnt have to rush things.
I'm sure hundreds more people have saved money through watching it and have now found this site too.
