I want to make apple bread - do I need to leave the dough to prove/rise at all ???

I want to use the recipe that I've seen on Sammy_Kaye's £100 monthly budget thread but I'm not sure if I need to make it and then leave it before putting the filling in and cooking it?

Can anyone help please?
You should never call somebody else a nerd or geek because everybody (even YOU !!!) is an
"anorak" about something whether it's trains, computers, football, shoes or celebs :p :rotfl:

    If you mean Dee's apple braid, then I just make the dough in the BM on dough setting, knock it back, fill and leave to rise before baking. It makes two! HTH

    I've have made it but it was a sort of disaster but it tastes OK-ish :o so I'm eating it if no-one else wants to :rolleyes:
