I feel ever so grubby reading this - I never wash mine out... I just give it a wipe over with a damp cloth to get any bits of flour off and voila! it's like new.↑ Things I wouldn't say to your face

My panasonic instructions say, do not immerse in water. If they would only say why, then we would not take a chance.0

I have used it today but only to make dough (not bake it as well coz it had a filling too) and it was fine

This is what I do too, but my paddle is always caked with bread so I take that out and soak it or put it in the dishwasher, but not the pan. Only if the paddle is baked on tight do I put enough water in the pan to cover the paddle and let it soak, then just wipe the pan out and put the paddle in the dishwasher.
A friend of mine put the whole pan in the dishwasher but the non-stick surface in the pan was damaged and she could never get her bread out of it after that so had to bin it. Every bm is different I suppose? SG0
