I wash mine by scooping water out of the washing up bowl into it but keeping the very underneath of it dry.

This is what I do too,I'm sure it said in the instruction booklet not to completely immerse it in water.

I feel ever so grubby reading this - I never wash mine out... I just give it a wipe over with a damp cloth to get any bits of flour off and voila! it's like new.

My panasonic instructions say, do not immerse in water. If they would only say why, then we would not take a chance.

This is what I do too, but my paddle is always caked with bread so I take that out and soak it or put it in the dishwasher, but not the pan. Only if the paddle is baked on tight do I put enough water in the pan to cover the paddle and let it soak, then just wipe the pan out and put the paddle in the dishwasher.

A friend of mine put the whole pan in the dishwasher but the non-stick surface in the pan was damaged and she could never get her bread out of it after that so had to bin it. Every bm is different I suppose? SG
