looking to know the name of this type of window

Options
I live in a rented terrace house in Liverpool and the windows at the back are single glazed which on its own is fine. However the top bit which would normally open out does not. It kind of tilts like venetian blinds would. Now I know there is a type of name for this window but i dont know what it is. Im having a !!!!!! getting insurance and spending a long time trying to enplane to them what this window is. Would be handy to know the name for them - also if anyone else has them who to you get contents insurance with?

also short of changing them - is there anyway to make them lock? Cant see my landlord wanting to replace them :(

If the windows are louvre and accessible this type are a classic entry point for burglars. (Probably why you don't see them so much these days). If you can slide the glass out of the frames superglue it in.
