I have always worked full time as a teacher, earning a reasonable wage and have always paid balances off in full etc. I now have children and only work part time. I cancelled my Barclaycard recently as I was disappointed they no longer did Nectar points. I am now finding it hard to get a new card as my salary now falls below the threshold for some cards. any advice on a good card which has a low minimum salary requirement? P.S. anyone know what the Morgan Stanley Threshold actually is?!

If you are struggling to get credit cards then a card from your own bank is always a good option. Assuming you have handled your account ok that is taken heavily into account when deciding whether you qualify.
Also make sure you state your full income. Include any benefits you receive, gross interest from savings etc, not just your salary.0 -

The threshold for Goldfish cards is £5500, when it asks for occupation also allows 'homemaker'
Hope this helps0 -
