Credit is a privledge not a right. I just get sick and fed up with the debtors saying that the banks forced the loans on to them. We can all say NO or is it because we are all very polite and don't wish to affend....
Also how can anyone have pity for these people when they run up huge debts on 10 credit cards. I say it is totally irresponible and if they are all so weak, they deserve everything they get.

Well I for one would DIE if any of my family knew how much debt hubby and I had let alone anyone else (notice I've never put a figure on our debt???) so I would NEVER NEVER apply to go one of these programmes....although as someone has already said I imagine that there are some people who would be glad of financial help.

Very often when I've been watching 'Your Money or Your Life' (which must be the original money make-over programme) how could the people featured be so stupid .....but doesn't that make me a hypocrite ....would never have visited this website if it wasn't for our debt situation but I'm so glad I did - it has really educated me.

What really annoys me about these programmes is not the people who are in debt per se but those who know they are in debt and refuse to do anything about it even if it means cutting back on their lifestyle.
