what's a fat trap?

we empty our fat/oil etc into old coke bottles and then dispose of it at the tip in the proper place.

The form says "customer name" so is this jsut for Anglian water customers?

I am an Anglian water customer customer and I got one of these earlier this year. They have teamed up with the RSPB so it came with brief instructions on how to turn your left over fats and oils into bird cakes by mixing in seeds and nuts.

The fat traps are free to Anglian Water customers only so if you are with other companies, it may be worth checking to see if you can get them through the one you are with.

Failing that, Anglian water have given a link to the Fat Trap supplier so you can get them, but they charge around £1!

However, if you live outside of our region, for a small fee of around £1.00, you too can purchase a Fat Trap directly from the manufacturer, Less Mess Ltd at www.lessmess.co.uk or by calling 01271 817 977.
