I know I must have read something on this forum:rotfl:so can you all help me out with your uses for cereal packets? :T

I use them to cover my jam pots on newly made jam. I can't be doing with spending money on wax paper!

Wow that is a great idea thank you for that! I like to make chutneys etc and so does my mum so I will pass this tip on to her as well.
  • Rikki - do you put veg that you don't put in the fridge into these bags, such as potatoes?

MsMcawber - another great use for them thank you!

I store carrots, brussels,, parsnips swede etc in them and keep them in a cupboard.
I don't have much room in my fridge so what doesn't fit in goes in a bag and in the cupboard.
Potatoes are in a homemade cloth bag.

Just read the question again.....answer......yes :o

  • I put rubbish in them then put them straight in the wheelie bin to cut down on bin bags.
May all your dots fall silently to the ground.
  • I cut them up and use them to separate things like pancakes or HM beanburgers / potato cakes in the freezer - they stick much less than parchment paper or foil and can be swished in the sink to wash.
