i have benn looking in to reclaiming some of my council tax or least getting my band lowered for the future but was advised today that i needed to this within the first 6 months of living there is that right?

i dont no much about council tax but i must be paying to much i live in a tiny 1 bed flat but pay more than anyone i know!

anyone got any advise on getting some evidence to prove its wrong?
