I recently bought a Siemens WXL166AGB for £439 from Panther online. Very pleased. Siemens have 5 years warranty (10 years for pricier ones) available from their website till end-August. Their earlier model (WXL146) was the best buy in Which?extra. I recommend Panther online for service as well.0

I brought a Bosch Logix washer and separate tumble drier 4 yrs ago and I would definately buy again, the washer in particular enables you to stop it and add items ie. socks that have dropped on way to washer, which is one of the best features i have seen, it also tells you the time that the washing will be ready!
Just a quick note if you have the space for a separate washer and drier, I was advised by a washing machine engineer a few years ago to go for separate appliances because he claimed that they go wrong less often than washer/drier combos.0 -
If you are thinking of buying a new washing machine it is always worth a trip to your local library for a quick look through the Which magazines(all libraries have them). Washing machines are regularly on test and then you have all the info required to make an informed decision.0

Just ordered the BOSCH WFO2467 from 365Electrical after searching for one through Pricerunner and Kelkoo:
http://www.365electrical.com/servlet/marks.WasherDetailsServlet?referrer=PriceRunner&productId=WFO2467GB
Under £300 and included delivery(they also had them in stock which was another problem i had trying other places over the weekend!)
Thanks for all your help!
