What to wear to an interview!?

Hi, I’ve been reading this board for the last month or so and picked up some really useful advice regarding employment etc- so firstly- thanks. :T
I’ve done a search but it returned no results so I thought I’d post!
I have job interview coming up soon and would like some advice and opinions on what to wear when attending. It’s been a while since I have attended any sort of interview so what would people advise- the job is office based.
So should it be a suit, shirt and tie or just smart shirt or shirt and tie (no jacket)?????

Dont walk in with a cup of coffee or any other form of take away (Bottle of water ok). Suit and tie with smart shoes, neat facual hair (if you have any).
Good luck

So is that’s a definitive suit, shirt and tie then. Will go and get a nice new shirt and tie tomorrow- any recommendations on colour

As Zodiac has spoke about taking things into the interview- It is ok to take a small(ish) spiral notepad in, isn’t it?
Thanks for the advice so far :beer:0 -
Don't forget a friendly smile :hello: for everyone from the door man on and a firm handshake (nothing worse than a limp 'dead fish' hand).

Very best wishes and lots of Good luck and don't worry!_pale_0 -
ALWAYS be nice and polite and chatty (ish) to the receptionist without chatting her up!
It goes back to personnel0 -
