Just seen an advert for new coach operator to rival National Express. https://www.megabus.com offer travel between various points in the UK from £1.
for example i tried Dundee to London travelling on a Friday night (both ways) in July and it was £1 each way - unfortunately with a booking fee of 50p it put the total price up to £2.50 return!
It's a pity i dont live in Dundee but then again i don't want to go to London either.
