Buyer been told Ive refused transaction?? Help!

Had an email from someone that bought an item on BIN and when they tried to pay they were told that I had refused the transaction. I sent an invoice, hoping that would work on the offchance that ebay/paypal was being glitchy. The buyer is still being told I'm refusing the transaction. Any idea why?

Usual reason is you have a block on echeques and buyer is paying you by one, that's the message Paypal sends.

Tell him to fund his account and then pay, that or update his card details if necessary to make sure payment goes through straight away.

ask the buyer to check their debit or credit card details as looks like payment is trying to come through as an echeque.
  • How do we put a block on echeques please?

I would like to do this too!

Found in your Profile on Paypal under Selling Preferences

    Block the following payments:
Pay with eCheck for website and Smart Logo payments, or German bank transfer for all website payments except eBay

Strangely eBay should be exempt from this block but something has stopped this from working.

It has caused us to lose several sales a week, before we found out what was causing it
