Home Insurance - Legal Protection add on.

The option of including "Legal Protection" to Buildings / Contents Insurance policies seems to be getting more expensive. I used to pay for it as it was only a few pounds extra but I'm thinking now that it isn't worth it. Anyone have any strong views or experience with claims?

yes I aint ever needed it in the past 20 odd years not to say I wont need it in future years I just refuse to pay for what I think is just a rip off nor do i take legal cover on the car insurance I am sure somewhere within a policy through work or other things I am covered and can get the use of a lawyer if need be.!!!

This is wrong I'm afraid - the easiest way to explain this is if you ask someone who has used it before, about 90% of the time the would not be without it again, people o the otherhand who have never used it think its a waste of money. from my personal and professional experiences i would say the legal services on home and car insurance are one of the better £25 a year items that i buy and rarely (thankfully) have to use.
