What is the AQA from home stuff?
Just looked at their site - is it examiners? Do they mark the test papers?
Not sure I would get accepted as I don't have a degree, I've got English A level but only a C grade so not sure they would want me!!!
I'm looking for bar work as thought it might be a bit more fun and social too??
AQA stands for Any Question Answered... you would 'log on' and would receive texts from members of the public and answer their questions using a database similar to Google. They are usually questions such as 'what year did ... happen?' etc.
As mentioned, I haven't done AQA before, so I would recommend you have a read of this thread: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=516895&highlight=AQA
I have done some bar work, and really enjoyed it, although this was when I was doing my A Levels, so it was a chance to be sociable and earn a bit of cash.0 -

I've got a second, part-time job in a shop. I do 3 shifts per week, Saturday afternoon (1:00pm - 5:00pm) , Sunday night and Wednesday night (both 6:00pm - 9:30pm). It's only 12 hours a week (almost) but it pays for food for the week and my one night out per week.
The money my main job brings in pays the bills and debts, this is mine for anything else. I get taxed on the full amount though so only take home just over £50 but thats enough for me.
The hours suit me - it's only on Wednesday that I have to rush straight from one job to the next and if I got a bar job or something I would be working far later that 9:30pm.
It's a local corner shop and is about 200 yards from home. Ideal!

I work delivering pizzas on Fri and Sun nights from 6/7pm til about 10/11pm.
I used to do loads more hours but now I have paid off a good chunk of my debt and couldn't hack any more 60hours weeks.
It is hard - the longest I ever worked was 21 days straight between two jobs - but you soon get into the hang of it and the extra £ makes it all worthwhile.
Plus I got free food and was saving cash while all my pals were out partying.DEBT FREE! Sep '08/£9,800 in Oct '06 :beer:0 -
I had 2 jobs for the most of the time I was in debt. I worked 9-5 at my full time job and then 6-10 at my evening job a few times a week, and then 8 hours on a weekend. It was reception at a healthclub, pretty well paid too for a p/t job and good perks - I was doing around 16-20 if not more hours at this job too! I really enjoyed the 2nd job, although it was a struggle some days. I just preferred being able to earn some money instead of spending all of the time at home because I couldnt afford to do anything. I remember some weeks I only had 5 quid to buy groceries with!
And another 2nd job I had before I came travelling was a sat job at a local estate agents, helping out - another well paid and enjoyable job, so I was quite lucky.
Have done bar work in the past, which is always another option as you get to socialise at the same time.

At the moment I'm registering with recruitment agencies as they sometimes advertise for Saturday workers, think most of them have been answering phones at offices etc.
I'm hoping to get a saturday job as well as still doing my full time job!0 -

Heehee I thought it mean AQA as in the examining board as I have heard of people being examiners and marking stuff at home!!!!

A healthclub would be my ideal job as I have worked at one before. Not seen any vacancies locally for a club but will keep looking.
I'm now officially on the hunt and am going to give up my weekends (albeit reluctantly but I've got to do something) I'm looking for pub work (although have no bar experience) or anything else that I can do evenings with. Will see what happens.DMP with PayplanDMP Support number 287Trying to lose lbs and save £££s!0 -
