Calling all (nice) private landlords in and around Bicester - East Oxford

Hi

Posted recently re partner getting a new job in Wheatley Oxford and us moving from Cheshire to the area...thanks to all of the helpful responses which have been great!

Well...now I am thinking it is worth a stab at seeing if there are any private landlords out there with 1/2 bed properties to let in and around Bicester, Wheatley - max £750 pcm? Local letting agencies want £200 for admin fees which I think is a bit steep (or is this normal??!) and my experience of agents hasn't been good in the past, would much rather build rapport directly with the landlord than have to fight to communicate with them through an agency.

Any takers? Thanks

have a look on daily information or gumtree, also think the oxford times and Oxford mail might have classifieds too all are local with the obvious exception of gumtree. Not sure but think Bicester might have alocal paper too maybe the Bicester herald.

Try www.thisisoxfordshire.co.uk for links to local newspapers (Bicester, Oxford etc...) and you can search for rental properties too. I had a quick look on rightmove, and there's not much available to rent in East Oxford at the moment.

For private landlords, you might want to try adverts in shop windows, or just ask around.

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

    Have you seen this one?

It's slightly outside your budget, but you might get them down...
