Hi,
I have applied for a Capital One Credit Card as my Credit is, well less than perfect (Needs Improvement as they say), there is supposed to be a 1 minute instant response time, but I just got an application reference number and a message to say my application would need to be reviewed as further checks would be required and I might have to return some documents !, but they will let me know within 7 working days.
Does that mean I am still in with a chance or have no chance !, in addition I only plan on using this to clear it every month to build up a good history so the High APR is not really that important.

My experience form Capital One was they will phone you during working hours and go through a few details.
Thats what they did before I received mine a few years ago.
Remember the interest rate is high and always pay them more than the minimum.
EG for every £90 paid +-£20.00 goes onto your card. The rest is interest.
I've reduced my balance to only £200.00 incase of an emergencyAll come to he who waits!
£14997.00 still to go by December 2008
Now £14325.00 17/04/080 -
I have had the same with two credit card applications. both times I've been successful.0

I have a very poor credit score and I am not working as I am a full time carer, hence the bad credit. I got one and I am on benefits.Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money but you can't get more time0
