We are currently using the Halifax credit card and have several months of interest free left. However when this is up I wonder what the options are for transfering from this card to another 0% deal without incurring transfer fees?
Also how do you know what limit they will give you. Halifax gave us a whopping £ 9 K. Any ideas appreciated.

You don't know what limit they will give you. Occasionally people have managed to get low limits increased by explaining it is for paying off an existing card which will then be canceled. More likely you will need to get a couple of cards to cover the debt.
You can find a list of no fee 0% cards here: https://www.stoozing.com/0fees.htm0 -

You don't, at least until after you've made the application. By reading this forum you will gain an insight into who "seems" to give the highest limits, but this is dependant on many circumstances, eg salary, being on the electoral role, time at current address, time with employer, existing financial commitments, and above all - your credit history as held by the CRA's.building wrote:Also how do you know what limit they will give you.0
