in Credit cards
Have had a joint Tesco card for ages (initially for the o% purchases deal).
Now just use it for the weekly shop and pay it off in full every month.
Its in my husbands name with me named as second card holder.
I also have a Barclaycard with a £2400 debt on it. The 0% runs out in August and I obviously would like to transfer this to a new 0% deal.
My query is.......would I be able to apply for the Tesco card with me named as the main cardholder to get the 12 month interest free period?

There should be no reason why you cannot apply in your name as the fact you are a second card holder on your husband's card makes no difference (the second card holder could as well be Mrs Minnie Mouse as far as Tesco are concerned).
Whether you get accepted will be entirely down to your own credit history and your husband's will not be taken into account.0 -
