Co-operative Bank Bad Customer Services for Credit card Customers

I have recently gotten a Yorkshire Building Society Credit card, which is run by the Co-Operative Bank. After only having the card for 2 weeks I have had problems already and have had to call customer services. After waiting on the line for 20 mins to talk to someone, I was told it wasn't their problem and was told to talk to the company concerned. After speaking to them discovered problem was nothing to do with them. So back to Co-operative Bank and another 20mins waiting to speak to someone. The second person I spoke to was initially unhelpful and even laughed at me. Then they put me on hold for 1/2 an hour came back on the line put me on hold for another 5 mins. Then said it was our error we'll sort it now. Really annoyed with them, if I'd know the Customer Service would be so poor I wouldn't have gotten the card in the 1st place.

    The co-op have messed me around no end, although my parents,having been customers for years with them, find them great.
    When trying to open my account, they kept losing my paperwork and not faxing it through; after the third 'loss' i called the customer service line who said sorry they hadn't had it, so i rang the actual branch where the girl said she'd sent it and i quote, 'the co-op doesnt lie so it must be you' !!!!

    Why would I lie about my paperwork not being recieved so I could open an account!!! I was spitting! She hung up on me too.

    I would have gone in but its miles away (i use the PO for my co-op banking which is handy i guess) but as it was the only account i could get as I wa bankrupt didn't want to kick up a fuss. I'm going to move soon hopefully - the actual banking service (the card, the account, online service) is good but the staff...sheesh!
