help with picture cd

hi, i have just had a picture cd sent to me and im trying to look at it on my pc, the cd is from jessops and it says if you put it in then it should just run, but mine isnt.
it does reconise there is something because the little cd thingy flashes up on screen but then nothing else happens, it does say i ca run it manually, but i dont know how to do that.
can anyone help please?

It may come with software that you can install to view pics but you don't need to

You don't say what version of windows you have but if you RIGHT click Start then choose explore and look at the disc in you d: drive (assuming you only have one hard disk and one cd you should be able to see the pics they may be hidden in a folder
Double clicking on a pic should then show it
If you have a recent version of windows then choose thumbnails from the drop down view menu
