kwik fit store card

My partner recently had work done on her car at Kwik Fit. After handing over her card to pay by switch/visa, the manager said she did not have to pay anything for 3 weeks and the bill would be forwarded to her by post.
A week later, a store card arrived although she did not authorise any application or sign anything.
Is this legal ? as its seems an underhand tactic by the kwik fit manager to boost targets and commision.

Please advise whether its worth complaining about.

  • You normally pay your bill after the work is done, and don’t pay three weeks later?
To apply for any store card you need to sign your signature! If you haven’t applied for any store card? Then he has committed an offence.
I would ring head office and tell them about his little tactics.
I'm not poor i'm just skint
