Nice reading. I wonder if Martin Ellis will be able to appear anywhere without mentioning property.0

Mmm wombie I had a link for you... might have been something I read in the telegraph... yay here we go:
Fundamentalist views: Changing world will give the commodity bull-run more legs
Had any thoughts on agriculture funds? I was looking at the eclectica agriculture fund the other day but the volatility is ridiculous on it. Not thought much more about it really.
Mmm good read that link you gave, think I'll stick with the iFunds mixed commodity etf fund rather than go for another chunk in agriculture straight.0 -
I like the idea of it. It's more of an investment in producers who would profit from higher AG prices rather than holding the commodities themselves (if you want that then take a look at Schroder AS Agriculture)Had any thoughts on agriculture funds? I find the volatility of Eclectica Agriculture too scarey. I too will just stick with MFM IFunds Commodity fund. H&L dont seem to do the Schroder Agri fund.0

I think it is an offshore fund based in Luxembourg. I guess it cant be put into a PEP/ISA/SIPP

I just had a look at FAIG and it is very high on energy (35%) and low on precious metals (9%).

The MFM IFund sounds a better proportion.0
