    Heya Dawny. :)

Favourite Black Sabbath song is "Symptom Of The Universe". :D

    xx

Good choice. I must say I rather like 'Planet Caravan' :rotfl:

Hi this is the first time I have posted on this thread,I have typed, deleted, typed, deleted and so on and so on.... because I don't know what to put. To be honest I have realised after reading alot of your posts that my depression is worse than I thought. I stop in all day everyday.

There, I've said it, I had to tell someone about the sad life I lead everyday.
    Welcome.gif
To be honest my life was exactly like yours until recently so please don't feel you are alone.

Hiya Dawny! Nice to hear you sounding your usual chirpy self :) and that you're doing ok with going back to work. It can't have been easy for you - big hugs angel xx

And hi to everyone else too  I'm not long in and just trying to thaw out now, it's freezing out there lol

    Much love to you all,
    Sazzy xxxxxxxxxx
Hi Sazzy, I am trying soooo hard to remain positive but it's very hard to be honest because after spending so long locked up by myself I am now back in a training group with 15 people I do not know. I feel physically unable to speak to them or join in and sit alone for my lunch whilst they all sit together in a group. :o
Even tok a book in today so i could sit and read at lunch and at least look occupied! :o (not my depression self help guide though!!!)

And after just 3 days I am so worn out!

It has been very cold lately. My hands were so numb by the time I got to work I couldn't even do a text on my mobile!! :rotfl:

Hope you are doing ok x

There are loads of things they can try like one on one counselling, group things, CBT (which means a completely different thing to sadomasochists, so be careful!), all that jazz. Best to get onto the doc asap because the waiting lists can be hellish. If you decide nearer the time you don't want to go, then you can phone and cancel but being on the waiting list does no harm. :)
Hi again :D How do you see about other kinds of help? Groups, CBT etc? I tried counselling and it was absolutely useless :( I haven't been offered any other kind of help at all. Can I just ask for something else like this at my next review? :(

    I did something today.....
I made that call...rang work, and got the area manager of the phone, turns out he is in our branch this week, ended up speaking to him about my boss, and of course he is her boss. He was great, made me feel at ease, calmed me down. and we have came to a kinda compromise that me and said boss will have a meeting to discuss the situation, and try and sort it out civilised. have to admit this does daunt me, as the feelin of bein in a room with her is a bit unnerving , but the assistant manager will be there too. its all gonna happen when i get back to work on the tuesday :eek::eek:

Wow! Go Rose, Go Rose :T
Glad you built up the courage to do something! I really hope they manage to fix it all for you!! :)

Why is it always my luck that the emis website is down so I cannot book a doctors appointment? Grrr.

I have a lot of problems using the phone so booking an appointment that way is a no go. I'm going to write my doctor a letter and explain the reason I haven't seen her this week etc and book an appointment as soon as I can.

Anywho, I'm going to get a cuppa.

    Much love
    xx

You can make appointments online?? Wow.
I'm lucky that at the end of each appointment my doctor just books the next one in.
I have to get used to using the phone again though as I will be taking phonecalls at work again in the next 3 or 4 weeks at some point!

    Heylo Starshine. :D

Oh, it's good. :D Although, I am now contemplating saving up to buy an electric guitar to go along with my screaming and singing.lol.

Okie dokie. Will be back with your tea in a mo. :D

Lol. Aw. You're too kind my lovely. ;) My doctor is very understanding so she'll understand why I couldn't make an appointment. I'll just write to the ED team instead about an appointment and then book an appointment to see her next week online (when it finally decides to work.lol.)

    xx

Thanks for my drink LM..... xxxx :A

I think so, yeah. I guess it will vary from area to area. Don't be shy about asking what help's available. The idea is to get you better as soon as possible. Some doctors are more clued up about what's available in their area than others, so will suggest things. Others you have to ask. They each have their fields that they have an interest in I guess. Check online as well, there will probably be some local support groups or something.

Again it'll be a case of a waiting list though. Probably group stuff will have less of a waiting list, since it's not one on one treatment.

This ties in with another thread actually, because I love System Of A Down's cover as well.
