I have used them. but found www.interchange.co.uk to be more profitable (to me that is)

  • I use `em and have done so for 2/3 years. Use `em long term to pay every month for bills in Spain. No probs, really helpfull.
  • MSE's "Travel Money Maximiser" is a very useful tool. The Post Office consistently rates very well - but only on the online purchase and MOST importantly you can only use this if your single currency purchase exceeds £350.
This is not mentioned on the site until you actually start ordering. Their rates at the branches are significantly lower.
  • I am trying to find the best way of bringing 8,000 Euros from a Spanish bank account to England.
I have spoken to my banks but even they have advised me to look somewhere else because their exchange rate wouldn't be competitive.

I have seen some threads about Money Coorp and I was wondering if people out there think this is the best way to exchange that money.

    I would appreciate your advise.

Can you not find someone in Spain to buy them from you at a mutually agreed rate?

You obviously havn't dealt with a Spanish bank, any/all Spanish Bank/s charge the earth for transactions.

I would avoid that option at all costs.

Yep very annoying. I want £200 worth of Swiss Francs.

    Post Office - £350 min
Travelex - Awaiting info on the debit card situation from my bank as travelex online only accept cards + no pickup in manchester airport so another trip required to Leeds airport 1st.

Have you tried Marks and Spencer, their exchange rates are normally pretty good and its Commission free. Its always worth giving your branch a call to get the daily rate and if they have stock.
