 please please would you give me some advice, when reading this message you will realise I need it:rotfl:
I am looking to buy a usb drive (hope I've got that right) to transfer data and work from my laptop to one of these pens.
Now what is the difference between a USB flash drive and USB drive, and a USB flash pen
Or is there a difference.
Would a 1gb one be big enough or should I go for a 2gb one?
Do I need a higher gb machine to use the higher one?
The makes I have seen are Busbi, Maxell and Mixchomi think this is the make.
Any advice greatly appreicated:j

A USB Flash Pen or Drive are pretty much the same thing, they are small (usually keyring size) data storage devices so you can back up your files and easily carry them around with you.
As for the size you should go for (1GB, 2GB etc), it really depends on the size of the files you want to save.
If you are looking to for instance back up all your photographs from your digital camera, you might need a pen drive with high storage capabilities. However if you are merely looking to save a few documents or presentations to carry from one PC to another then a smaller one may be ok. Finally, if for example you are wanting to fully backup your C-drive (all your music, photos, documents on your PC), then a pen drive is perhaps not the best option, an external hard drive might be your best bet.0 -
There's no difference in the types. How big depends on how much data you're transferring. I've got a terrible track record of losing the little blighters, so I don't have to worry about the size of them as they're invariably lost before filled!0

A more informative title for your message would not have out of place.

Depends on how much data you intend to transfer. A 4GB drive can be had for about £15. Cheap enough. Or go for a couple of smaller capacity units.Would a 1gb one be big enough or should I go for a 2gb one?

The type of machine does not matter.
