It was interesting and a little nerve wracking! But the judge was so lovely.
Thanks again - you really helped me not to look a complete fool in court!!
Hopefully we'll have some positive news from the High Court soon!
Cheers

Hullo The court has written and said that "unless the Claimant by 30th April files a fully particularised claim and confirmation that he wishes to proceed and/or a request for a further stay, the claim id struck out without further order" Can anyone suggest a format for this sort of 'extension of stay' letter please?!!0

I am after a bit of help if it's possible. I am trying to get the stay of claim lifted from Abbey. I am getting confused trying to figure out what to put into the letter for the court. I am up to court tomorrow as the local council is trying to get me evicted from ny house. I dont have any bills to show the court that I am having quite a bit hardship, but I am unsure if the court would see it this way. I know that Mr Justice Andrew Smith has said that the claims are unfair. What statement or paragraphs from his hearing can I put into this letter? I am at my wits end now. I have wrote to Abbey on several occasions to ask for the stay to be lifted and when I have telephoned up they have denied every time that they have received my letters . Can anybody please help me?0

This morning I have received a letter from Sechiari, Clark and Mitchell, solicitors to Lloyds Bank, asking that I write to them and to the court to confirm that I agree to a stay.
On principal I don't agree, so what should I do? Ignore them, write and say no, or reluctantly accept the inevitable?
Any advice would be gratefully received...0 -
The Court will probably stay the action on its own motion. I doubt you have much choice but to agree a stay.0
