Archna's Game Of The Week: Factory Balls

This is a bit of a strange one, but great fun once you get past the first few levels! You need to drag and drop the balls into the tools to copy the correct style of the example ball, then drop it into the box once it's right. You only have 17 balls to get to the end of the game so use them wisely!

You'll notice that it's Archna's free game of the week, much like it's Andrea's Freebies. MSE Archna is a stalwart of the team, and in charge of making sure everything's organised, sorted, collated, checked, researched and generally spiffing in the e-mail - as well as being a seriously good researcher.

Sadly though, I noticed that occasionally she loses focus and catch her playing the games that we put at the end of the e-mail. She persuaded me this was part of her 'testing work' - so now it's an official part of her job. She gets to choose the games each week! Blame her if they're no good (and as for why her name's in pink.... I'm really not sure!)

GREAT GAME, though it took me a few tries to work out what to do!! I must be slow!!!
Take one ball and then work on that one ball to achieve the effect displayed on the box, by dragging it to the "tools" that is paint pots, etc. Then when correct, click on the ball and it drops into the box and the next objective and tools appear. If you get it wrong dispose of the ball in the bin and try again with another ball.
Hope that makes sense and helps.

very original and I enjoyed it but a bit too easy. I got to level 12 on my first go and completed it on my second, losing only one unnecessary ball in the process.

But still the most original game idea I've seen for a long time. Thanks Archna.

I don't understand the game. A fool like me was expected some instructions. Please don't offer help I am off to a site that is sensible.

I don't understand any of these games, except Bubbleshooter. There was one a week or three ago that was downright weird. Anyone who could make sense of that should be in a secure home. I'm off, back to my balcony overlooking the South China Sea to work on money saving ways of staying cheaper and better! But moneysavingexpert.com really is a stunning concept, and beautifully handled. Well done Martin Lewis.

Hmm. I like it but am finding it hard.

I found a cheat guide if anyone wants it, just highlight below

Click the flashing 'Play' circle to start (well duh that's obvious :P).
Level 1: Drag a white ball onto the can of Orange Paint (2nd one across). Then drag it onto the Black Tape (1st one across). It should slowly go into the box itself and you are taken to a new level.

Level 2: Drag a new white ball onto the can of ORANGE paint(2nd one across). Then onto the black egg-beater-like thing (third one across). Now, drag it onto the can of Blue Paint (1st one across). Lastly, drag the blue ball onto the curly black thing without it's arms (3rd one across) and ta-da!

Level 3: As usual, drag a new white ball out. Let go of your mouse on the can of Green Paint(2nd one across). Then drag it onto the pump (1rst one across) TWO times. Done!

Level 4: Drag a new white ball onto the FOURTH (4th) mysterious can of paint across. That is the blue one. Now drag onto the black spidery-machine thing again (6th one across). Drag onto the SECOND (2nd) mysterious pot of paint across. It is the orange. Finally, back onto the empty machine thing (6th). ~~

Level 5: First drag the new ball onto the GREEN paint (2nd). Then onto the pump (1rst) to make it larger. Now onto the BLUE paint (3rd). Use the pump to make it larger still. Lastly, onto the can of Green paint again to finish!

Level 6: Number 1, drag onto the BLACK paint can (2nd) (yes the black one). Now onto the white cylinder thing (3rd). The ball should get some glasses. Then onto the Orange paint (1rst) which should get his body to be Orange again. Get rid of the glasses by dragging to the white cylinder again. Finally, drag onto the toilet plunger (I think that's one), the 4th one across, TWICE to make the orange nose!

Level 7: This is fairly easy (apart from the odd colour combination). Drag new ball onto the pink can (3rd). Now onto the 'plus' can (the can with the plus sign on it). Then onto the yellow can (2nd). Done (easy huh?).

Level 8: Oooh! Glossy! nvm. First drag onto the orange can (1st). Then onto the spidery-thing (which if you haven't noticed, helps to make spots). Now onto the blue can (2nd). Time to drag it onto the new-looking thing! The shiner (well that's what I call it anyway) (3rd)! Finally back onto the spidery-thing (the spotter I call it) and done!

Level 9: Firstly, take note of the different paint can sizes. One is half-size and one is full-size. Step one is to drag a new ball onto the FULL-sized green paint can (4th). Next onto the HALF-sized orange (3rd). Then use the pump (1rst) to blow it bigger, and finish off by dragging to the HALF-sized green (5th).

Level 10: Yay! Bunny-ful! First we need to do the green ear. Drag onto the can of green (2nd) to paint the whole thing green. Now onto the right-side toilet plunger thing (the 6th one) TWICE to create the ear for the right. Next onto BLUE (3rd). Then drag onto white cylinder again for some glasses!Once you have them, color the 'head' part yellow by dragging to the yellow paint (1st). Next go the the left-side toilet-plunger (also TWICE to make it the right size). Finish off by visiting the white cylinder to take off the glasses!

Level 11: Not too hard again. Firstly, go to the cyan-colored paint (1st along, the light light blue). Now to the 'plus' can (4th). Then drag to yellow (2nd). This should make a spiffy green. Onto the spidery-spotter (5th)! Go pink can (3rd), 'plus' can, and yellow can again to create a red like you did on level 7. Back on the 'spotter' to take the spidery thing off and finish the level!

Level 12: Wow, I nearly got stuck on this one! But it proved quite un-hard. :P First, drag to the HALF-sized orange (2nd). Next, onto the spotter (4th) to create some spots. On to the FULL-sized pink paint (1st) first, then the HALF-sized yellow (3rd). Back to the spidery-spotter to take it off and... Next level!

Level 13: First drag the non-colored white ball to the white cylinder (4th) for some glasses. Now ONCE onto the right-side toilet plunger (5th). Color the whole thing blue (2nd). Then ONCE onto the left-side toilet plunger (6th). Drag onto the pink paint (1st) and color the whole thing pink. Visit the white cylinder to take off the glasses and lastly, go to the new equipment, a CD, to cut out the mouth!

Level 14: Diiiisco Fever!!First, without adding any color, take the white ball and go to the shiner (2nd) to add gloss to it. Next drag it to the new equipment - a lightbulb (4th) - to make it liiiiight up! Doesn't it look magical? Anyway, onto the spidery-spotter thing 3rd). Add more color by going to the blue can (1st). Take off the spotter and YOU ARE FINISHED!
