Leeds & Holbeck Interest

Just viewed my Leeds & Holbeck Online Saver to make a withdrawal and noticed that they have shown the interest as credited for the 31st July 05. This is also available to withdraw. Now today is Wednesday 27th. I know the 31st is Sunday. But is it normal to give this money in advance or am I losing 2/3 working days interest?

I don't know about L & H but I have noticed in the past that some Bldg. Soc.s have put my I.S.A. interest into my nominated bank a/c. 2 to 3 days early. i.e. on the 2nd or 3rd of April when payday is the 5th. After checking the amount, a full years interest was paid. On the other hand though, there is one that always pays it a couple of days late irrespective of what day of the week that the 5th falls on.
