Please could you try providing a bit of background as giving advice to a vacumn is very difficult.
So how much per month did the court tell you to pay?
Sorry Ras.
The case was in Bedford about two hundred miles from me. The court found in favour of the plaintiff. Which they would because I offered no defence. I then got fetails of this from the court. I was just hoping I could negotiate some sort of payments with these collectors.0 -
Firstly, if this happens again, you can ask for the case to be moved to a court nearer your home.
Secondly, did you fill in the income and expenditure form that the court sent you?
If not, then you are laible for the whole amount. You could go back tot he court to get a redetermination.

Many thanks Ras. Does this mean I will still have a chance of a hearing that is held nearer to my home or am I too late?0

These people are not member of the ESA or ACEA and seem to be just debt collecting monkeys. You need to go back to the court and ask for a redetermination and set up a repayment plan.0
