Well, I'm back again re the crossword ...

You may remember that I posted recently to say that a friend claimed to have won simply by going to the crossword page on PB, but without actually doing it. Several other people have now claimed to have won the 2000 points.

I emailed PB to ask simply if there was a change in policy for the crossword, as several people seem to have won.

    I received this reply:

I have brought this up with our technical team for further investigation and according to them we are not currently awarding PiggyPoints to member's who complete our Crossword or visit the offer page, the offer page confirms this.

... as far as we can see there is no issue with the Crossword.

I can only conclude that Curly is even more dim than he looks!

Can I ask you to leave it at that and not contact them again about the crossword.

If people keep winning so be it.

If you click the completed crossword link, you get this message:

Thank You. Your crossword has been submitted. Check the winners page tomorrow to see if you have won. Please note guest members are not eligible to win.

So I take it that means "proper" members can win. Curiouser and curiouser. But as long as people keep winning ......

  • You are right there should have been 5000 points, but initially pigsback said it was only for 2000 points, which they credited me with 7 weeks after I opened the account. They have now given me the missing 3000 points, after a snotty email!
Which account did you open? I'm still waiting on my points.

I opened my eSaver account when it just said 'Earn 5000 piggypoints' but they've since changed it to 2000 for the eSaver and 5000 for the ISA, so I'm wondering how much I'll get.

    jam
    Debt @ 22/11/07 = £11,038.74
Debt Free Since = June 2015
    I'm having a FREE Christmas 2016 - Cash/Vouchers earned (so far) = £57
    Freebies earned = 2

I had 100 pps added today :D Under the details it says Registration. I don't know if they're for my birthday on Sunday or something I've signed up for. Either way I'm not complaining!
You can touch the dust, but please don't write on it

thats usually the 100 points for when you first register with pigsback, my sister received hers a few weeks back, although she has been a member for some time, she never got them when she first joined..
