For those of us that had our bet on Danetime Lord, unfortunatley he came 2nd. Right, who to bet on tomorrow....
I dunno - which fool gave us that bum steer?

That's why it's not a good idea putting money on "dead certs". Looks like I've no chance of a top 10 this month. Nevermind - even if I end up with 10 wins that's still 100 piggies.

Well, I'm back again re the crossword ...

You may remember that I posted recently to say that a friend claimed to have won simply by going to the crossword page on PB, but without actually doing it. Several other people have now claimed to have won the 2000 points.

I emailed PB to ask simply if there was a change in policy for the crossword, as several people seem to have won.

    I received this reply:

I have brought this up with our technical team for further investigation and according to them we are not currently awarding PiggyPoints to member's who complete our Crossword or visit the offer page, the offer page confirms this.

... as far as we can see there is no issue with the Crossword.

I can only conclude that Curly is even more dim than he looks!

Oh well, we never lost anything, it's a win win situation.

Lets hope we get a winner tomorrow.

That's it exactly. It is great fun betting on the horses knowing that you cannot lose! I am really enjoying picking out my horses each day. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you for tomorrow. Good luck.

I'm really grateful for the tip and all the help you have given us. It's a shame you're not gonna make the top 10 this month. You deserve to make it next month and win lots of piggypoints for the advice you have given us. It's good fun and even just the odd win here and there helps boost the piggypoint balance. Best of luck to you.

    Hi All :hello:

I'm delighted to report that I received my missing 3000 points for opening the account! No reply to my snotty email, but saw them added to my piggy bank, so I've ordered vouchers before they can take them away again!

Leisure vouchers do have an expiry date! I ordered some before the bank holiday & they arrived today but on the back it has a redeem by date of 31/07/10. Sure I'll use them by then, & maybe this expiry date is a new thing, but I suggest you all check the backs of them!

I opened an account as well but haven't received any points. As far as I remember there were 5000 points not 3000.

You are right there should have been 5000 points, but initially pigsback said it was only for 2000 points, which they credited me with 7 weeks after I opened the account. They have now given me the missing 3000 points, after a snotty email!
& as for some happy ending I'd rather stay single & thin :D
